"Great Results - So Happy - I have been receiving Botox from Dr Kasden for almost 3 years. He is always conservative and always achieving the natural results I request. I have had some “smile wrinkles” that have been bothering me and today I finally tried Juvederm. I should have tried it sooner! I am so happy with the results! PROCEDURE TECHNIQUE FOR JUVÉDERM®
Juvéderm injections commonly only take about 15 – 30 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. Your face will be cleaned and injection spots will be marked. To minimize discomfort during the treatment, Juvéderm fillers contain lidocaine (a local anesthetic). After your treatment, you can resume your normal routine, but strenuous activity like exercise should be avoided for at least 24 hours. You should be careful to not touch your face after your injections to avoid moving the filler into unintended areas.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM JUVÉDERM®
You should experience a noticeable improvement immediately after your Juvéderm treatment, but you may also see mild swelling or bruising in the treated areas for about 7 – 10 days. The results of Juvéderm injections usually last up to one year; some patients find that their improvements last longer after a few years of treatments. Talk to your injector about when to book a touch-up or full treatment to maintain your results.

Are Juvéderm injections painful?
Though most patients do not find it necessary, a local anesthetic can be applied to the treatment area prior to injection if you are worried about any pain. You should contact our office if you experience any lasting pain or abnormal side effects after your Juvéderm treatment.

Juvéderm is an injectable wrinkle filler that corrects static wrinkles and adds volume. Juvéderm is ideal for treating mild to moderate wrinkles or to add volume to your lips and cheeks.
What results can I expect?
